Spring is Here!

After a colder than usual winter season, Spring has officially sprung in Arizona! Consistent rainfall in the valley has led to an explosion of wildflowers blooming everywhere. Colors of orange, yellow, and purple line the roads and cover the mountains.

Wildflowers aren’t the only plants thriving in this weather. Our garden is filled with plants both beautiful and delicious to eat. Herbs, romaine lettuce, golden beets, and Swiss chard are all growing right now. We love incorporating all we grow in the garden in everything from salads to desserts, it makes a difference in the flavors!

We love this time of year in Arizona, the beautiful days before the heat of summer sets in. If you are in the colder parts of the country, this is an exciting time, as winter thaws and warmer sunny days await. Either way, it’s a hopeful season with much to enjoy!
