Bringing Hope into the New Year – Our Partnership with UMOM New Day Centers – January 2026

There are some partnerships that deepen over time – not because the work gets easier, but because the need remains urgent and the trust grows stronger. Our continued partnership with UMOM New Day Centers is one of those relationships.
For more than 60 years, UMOM has supported families in Arizona who are facing homelessness, offering far more than a roof overhead. Their work is rooted in the understanding that homelessness is not a single moment, but a complex challenge that requires stability, dignity, and individualized support. From emergency shelter and nutritious meals to employment services and housing placement, UMOM meets families where they are and walks alongside them toward lasting independence.
Their work is especially critical right now. Communities are seeing a rise in homelessness, while organizations like UMOM are navigating increasing demand, rising costs, and uncertainty around federal funding. Even amid these pressures, UMOM continues to adapt – staying focused on families, strengthening programs, and responding thoughtfully to a changing landscape.
Our relationship with UMOM dates back to 2014, and over the years, we’ve seen how consistent, flexible support allows organizations to plan, respond, and remain centered on the people they serve. This is why we are proud to continue supporting UMOM with a $1.5 million grant through The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation, helping ensure they can continue delivering comprehensive services during this moment of heightened need.

As we step into the new year, I am inspired by the resilience of the families UMOM serves and the dedication of the staff and community partners who make this work possible. Their commitment to treating families with care, respect, and dignity reminds me that even in challenging times, hope is always within reach.
Happy New Year, and thank you for following along in support of brighter futures across Arizona.
Xx,
