Building PXG Fall / Winter ’25 – Behind the Scenes – September 2025

Every collection tells a story, and Fall / Winter ’25 is no exception. This season is all about balance – where course-ready polish meets the kind of comfort you’ll want to live in every day. On September 12, the remaining pieces of the collection will debut on PXG.com, but before then, I want to share a glimpse into how this season came to life.

Collections like Fall / Winter ’25 begin long before they ever reach your closet. Over a year in advance, our team builds moodboards to set the creative direction – color stories, textures, and inspirations that define the aesthetic. From there, we develop tech-decks – detailed documents outlining how fabrics will perform, how seams and finishes will move, and how form meets function in every garment.

By six months prior to launch, the vision becomes tangible. Prototypes arrive, complete with every detail – buttons, patches, color swatches, and textile samples. This is when we conduct our walkthroughs: reviewing each piece on models, refining selections, and beginning to map the strategy that will introduce Fall / Winter ’25 to the world. These walkthroughs are also some of my favorite moments with the team – custom PXG M&M’s on the table, upbeat music in the background, our VP of Design and Production José Vega’s dog Penelope weaving between chairs, and plenty of snacks to keep energy high. It’s an environment that sparks creativity and reinforces why PXG is the best place to call work.

This season, I’m especially proud of the blend we’ve achieved – fan-favorite silhouettes refreshed in new palettes, paired with entirely new fabrications designed to surprise and delight. A few standouts include:

The Women’s Lapel Knitted Top – a sophisticated knit with sharp detailing and everyday versatility.

The Women’s Base Layer Henley Top – breathable and tailored for layering with ease.

The Women’s Corduroy Puffer Vest – a new textural statement that merges nostalgia with utility.

Every detail of Fall / Winter ’25 reflects the dedication of our PXG apparel team. Their talent and vision elevate not only what we wear, but how we feel – on the course, at home, and everywhere in between.
