Couture, Croissants, and Copines

From indulging in local cuisine to shopping and fashion shows, we did it all.

If you could sum up my recent trip to Paris in 3 words, they would be: Couture, Croissants, & Copines (French for girlfriends). From indulging in local cuisine (I’m still craving the bread) to shopping at the chic Saint-Honoré district, we did it all.

Here are some highlights from our trip!

One of the standouts from our trip was a caviar and champagne tasting at the luxurious Hotel de Crillon. We felt like true royalty! Within the private dining room of the hotel, we indulged in 5 types of caviar with blinis and champagne. The experience was incredibly educational and definitely a treat for the senses.

We dined at a number of restaurants across town during our week there, from Michelin rated spots to In-Room Dining. One night, we were running behind for an event with Vogue, and didn’t have time to make it out to dinner. In a panic, we rushed to the room service menu to find something to order, when we almost in unison decided on the quintessential cheeseburger and fries.  It did not disappoint!

While in the city we had to get our share of sight-seeing in. We walked (and shopped) along the Champs-Élysées, took in the sights of the Eiffel Tower, and even enjoyed a stroll around the (outside) of the Louvre!

Of course, no trip to Fashion Week would be complete without attending a fashion show. We were lucky enough to snag front row tickets to the highly coveted Chanel SS23 show. The collection was truly a work of art, and it was amazing to see the creative process in action.

I had the time of my life with my besties and I’m already counting down the days until we can do it again.

Au revoir for now, mes amies!
