As the year comes to a close, I find myself eagerly anticipating holiday soirees decorated with the latest winter fashions. Spiced cocktails with hints of cinnamon and cardamom enjoyed in the coziness of a warm home. Kindling crackling as the family gathers to watch a favorite Christmas movie. Okay, yes, mine is A Christmas Story. Amid the hustle and bustle of family travel and last-minute shopping, I’m reminded this is a time to exhale. Let’s be honest: simply making it through these unprecedented times deserves a congratulations in itself! In the spirit of the season, we are teaming up once again with our gracious friends at the Semper Fi & America’s Fund to launch the tenth annual Double Down Match, where every donation to the fund is matched dollar for dollar, up to $10 million, by The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation. I can’t stress enough the importance of giving back to our veterans. I hope you find some magic in the spirit of this holiday—and once again, thank you for making this community so special.
