Hello from the Big Island! We always kick off the year in Hawaii, our home away from home. There is nothing better than a cup of Kona coffee as I watch the sunrise over Mauna Kea.
Last week, I competed in the Pro-AM Competition in the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai. I had so much fun unleashing my competitive side and playing the game alongside golf pro, Mike Weir. After a few holes, Bob came by to drop off some Don Julio 1942 – my favorite! He sure knows the way to my heart 😉 With tequila in hand, I was ready to tackle the back nine.
We’re lucky to have many friends on the island. I love to host intimate dinner parties for us to reconnect and share a delicious meal. For my tablescapes, I draw inspiration from the vibrant colors of the island. I debuted my new plates from Blue Door Ceramics – a local, woman-owned Arizona business. These handmade turquoise plates complement the ocean views and create the perfect vibe for relaxed island dining.
It feels so good to be back. From playing golf to spending time with close friends, I am enjoying every minute.
