May 2025 – Watering My Own Grass

After a busy month of April “showers,” I’m taking a moment to smell the flowers. I recently returned from a weekend trip to see Post Malone’s show in Vegas (stay tuned for a breakdown of our trip in next week’s blog) and am currently preparing to celebrate some of the most important women in my life.

Mother’s Day is this Sunday. I am lucky to have a loving ( & fun!) mom who’s always been a steady, supportive part of our lives. My friends have also adopted her as their “bonus mom”, spending time with her at birthday celebrations, holiday events, football games, etc…she is one of the girls!

Shortly after celebrating the mothers in my life, I’m looking forward to celebrating my sister Alicia’s birthday (early) this month in Arizona. We’re mixing it up this time with a brunch instead of dinner, which should be a great time and change of pace!

I’m using this season to find balance in my day-to-day and do more of the things that bring me peace and happiness. This is your reminder to share a laugh with loved ones and do what makes YOU happy.
