NYFW Runway Notes: RL SS26

A quick 48 hours of fashion, food, friends, shopping, and the kind of energy only the city can give.

New York never disappoints, but this trip was all about Ralph Lauren. A quick 48 hours of fashion, food, friends, shopping, and the kind of energy only the city can give.

My friend and stylist Shane Houston and I eased in with dinner in the West Village on Tuesday before diving headfirst into the chaos. Wednesday started with glam (thank you @tolandmakeup), a Polo Bar lunch with Shane hosted by Ralph Lauren, always delicious – the pastrami on rye is to die for! Then the main event: Ralph Lauren’s Spring 2026 runway show.

Held on Madison Ave, the show had that charged, front-row energy. The space felt sharp and intimate, every detail dialed in. When the first look hit, it was classic Ralph: precise tailoring, fluid fabrics, polish that didn’t need to announce itself. Quiet power, and a reminder he’s still running the game.

After the show, we walked back to the hotel to change and reset before dinner. On the way, Shane and I made a quick stop at Saks Fifth Avenue – because honestly, shopping just hits different in New York. We hit the ground running, found so many good pieces from Chanel and Loro Piana to the cutest little Fendi cardigan!

Dinner that night was at Casa Cruz on the Upper East Side – low lights, good company, good wine, and just enough food after that Polo Bar lunch!

By Thursday afternoon it was back to Scottsdale for PXG’s Fall/Winter ’25 launch!
