When life gives you lemons, make limoncello! 🍋 This is one of my favorite party favors to give to guests – made with citrus grown in my backyard. See the recipe below to learn how to make your own!

Parsons Limoncello


1 TBSP Baking Soda
12 Organic Lemons (you can include other citrus if desired!)
750ML Everclear
750 ML Filtered Water
530GM Organic Sugar


1. Place lemons in a bowl
2. Bring a kettle of water to a boil
3. Fill a second bowl with ice & water
4. Pour boiling water over lemons
5. Transfer lemons to ice water to cool
6. Sprinkle baking soda over lemons and rub into skins
7. Using a vegetable peeler, remove the skins from the lemons
8. Place lemons ina sealable jar
9. Add Everclear and seal jar
10. Place infusion in a cool dark place for 3-4 weeks
11. After allowing the infusion to age, prepare a syrup
12. Bring filtered water and organic sugar to a boil in sauce pan
13. Cool completely
14. Remove infusion from storage & decant to remove skins
15. Blend infusion & syrup together
16. Transfer to sealable bottles and store in freezer
17. Enjoy when chilled
