Welcoming DIOR to Scottsdale with an opening party, benefitting the Girl Scouts of Arizona Cactus-Pine.
Dior Scottsdale Opening Party

Last month, something incredibly exciting happened right here in our own backyard – DIOR opened its first boutique in Arizona in the heart of Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, and to celebrate the launch, invited me to host their opening party! I was a very lucky (and happy!) woman to be celebrating alongside one of my favorite fashion brands in the world.

Over 60 of my friends and family joined for a dizzying two hours of private shopping, laughter, and champagne.  They came from near and far to be a part of this big opening, which meant the world to me.  So many things were magical about the evening!  Let’s start with the exquisite interior of this beautiful maison – it covers significant ground, 11,000 square feet to be precise, and was designed to pay homage to the label’s Parisian flagship on Rue St. Honoré.

The colors are luxurious and inviting, anchoring on its signature grey with soft blue accents. The custom handmade wallpapers and intricate artisan tiling throughout. The beautiful Toile de Jouy print lining the women’s dressing rooms looks even more magnificent against the Versailles-parquet floors.

Renee with DIOR stylist Jake

Jake, my DIOR stylist and shopper, helped us shop til we dropped – clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories – nothing was off-limits.  We even previewed the brand-new ALPS collection and handbags.  As a thank you, the brand gifted our revelers with branded Dior-print professional takeaway photos, captured throughout the night by a professional photographer, and beauty kits with all the Dior Beaute essentials: lip balm, gloss and nailpolish.  It was the ultimate fashion lovers back-to-school shopping spree!

One of the best parts of this fun evening was knowing that with the generous support of DIOR, a portion of the sales proceeds from our event went to benefit the Girl Scouts of Arizona Cactus-Pine, our local Girl Scouts chapter that I love to support through the Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation.  A bedrock organization that empowers young women of all ages with skill, esteem, friendship, and camaraderie development, they touch the lives of over 20,000 girls K-12 here in the community.  When Fashion meets Philanthropy, you have a winning combination in my book.
