Philanthropy Focus – Summer Fun for All

The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation continues to partner with organizations and programs that help kids stay connected and stimulated during the summer.

Summer brings a change of scenery for our family, along with a slower pace, and enjoyment of some of my favorite past times such as enjoying the pool with our dogs (they love to swim), spending quality time with friends, and of course as much golf as I can manage!

I consider summer to be a time of adventure, building friendships, and discovering new hobbies at any chapter of life. This should be no different for youth in our community. That is why The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation continues to partner with organizations and programs that help kids stay connected and stimulated during the summer, which we are especially in need of during Arizona’s hottest months. This season is an opportunity to break out from the rigor of the school day and explore a new passion, make friends, get in touch with nature, and outright have a blast. I’d argue that during these moments of a bit more freedom and fun, we find out who we truly are – an invaluable experience for a young person regardless of race, religion, gender identity, or income level.
