For this month’s Styled By Renee, I want to share a versatile cold-weather look. This ensemble is perfect for a holiday family gathering or a socially distant evening of outdoor dining (and drinks).
Lately, I’ve loved the juxtaposition of pairing classic and non-traditional pieces together.
This Dior skirt has a timeless A-line shape with a feminine pattern and pleats. It’s grey and white stitching couples well with PXG’s monochrome color palette.
The PXG Winter-Ready Wool Bomber Jacket is an edgy outerwear piece from the new PXG Apparel Fall/ Winter 2020 Collection. It features leather logo detailing, a double zipper and a thick, removable wool collar. I love this jacket’s brushed fabric. It’s soft to the touch and gives the coat a cozy, yet polished vibe.
For a little extra warmth, I like to wear tights. Under a midi skirt like this one, the tights may not be visible, but they are a subtle addition that make a big difference on frigid Fall evenings! The black turtleneck I chose is a chic, simple under layer. It’s form-fitting and stretchy- which delivers a flattering silhouette.
For a handbag, I went with a staple- my quilted white Chanel clutch with a leather threaded pewter chain link. This purse is a cool-tone pop of color for Fall!
I love when the weather cools down enough to break out my boots. The block-heel on these booties make them comfortable enough to wear all night long.
Every month, Scottsdale-based illustrator, Caroline Iverson, creates art from a Styled by Renee outfit. And, we always have a different PXG Apparel customer in mind, who’s wearing the look.
I love how this outfit turned out on paper. The clutch and PXG Winter-Ready Wool Bomber Jacket capture the flirty Fall style I’d envisioned.
Next month, stay tuned for a Styled by Renee that features one of our PXG Apparel Fall/ Winter 2020 Collection limited-edition seasonal sweaters and a favorite of mine – snakeskin patterned boots.
