I am back in AZ and though it’s been chilly here, it’s good to be back on the mainland! Leaving our home in Hawaii is always bittersweet, but I am excited for what’s to come this spring.

We left the island on a high note. Bob and I competed in the Kane (men’s) and Wahine (women’s) Hualālai Invitational alongside our good friends, Jolene and Steve Gabbay, who have been our partners in this tournament for 10 years! While we didn’t win this year, we had a great time competing with friends we’ve made in Hawaii over the years. Our good friends, Helen Gates and Rhonda Huntley won the Wahine Championship, and we had a blast celebrating them afterwards with a shot of my favorite, Don Julio 1942 (last year Rhonda cheered our win with a fabulous tequila too), it’s become our new tradition!
