For the seventh consecutive year, The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation announced they will match all donations – up to a total of $10 million – to Semper Fi Fund through the Double Down for Veterans campaign. The challenge was issued in a video address during Bob Parsons' annual Marine Corps birthday tribute. If the full $10 million match is met, it will bring the Foundation's cumulative giving to more than $51 million since 2012.

During a recent event with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix, Renee Parsons introduced the new Renee LaBelle Parsons Girls Leadership Award and announced the 2018 winner via video address. The award honors girls who have exhibited three key leadership qualities – collaboration, assertiveness and empathy – and provides the recipient with a new laptop and four years of scholarship funding up to $20,000 a year.

Renee Parsons was recognized at the 2018 Make-A-Wish Arizona Wish Ball for her contributions to the organization and her six-year tenure as a board member.

With the campaign complete, the organization will be able to concentrate efforts on its true mission of fostering honesty, courage, friendship and inclusion, while teaching important skills and serving girls in our community.
